1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using X1P9, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. A parent, guardian, or authorized school representative should review these terms for a student who cannot legally agree on their own.
2. What X1P9 provides
X1P9 is a free, independent educational project offering middle-school lessons, practice questions, study tools, a homework planner, and an optional student forum. It is not a school, accredited course, professional tutoring service, emergency service, or replacement for a teacher.
X1P9 may change, add, correct, or remove lessons and features at any time.
3. Accounts, sign-in, and age
Most learning pages can be used without an account. Google sign-in may be required for account-based features such as the forum. You are responsible for using an account you are permitted to use, keeping access secure, and signing out on shared devices.
Students under 13 may browse the public lessons, but they should not create an account, sign in, or submit personal information unless a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school has reviewed the service and provided any consent required by law.
4. Acceptable use
When using X1P9, you agree not to:
- Share full names, school names, addresses, schedules, contact details, passwords, private photos, or other sensitive information.
- Harass, threaten, bully, impersonate, or target another person.
- Post sexual, violent, hateful, discriminatory, illegal, or otherwise unsafe material.
- Upload malware, disrupt the website, bypass access controls, probe security, or misuse another person's account.
- Spam, advertise, collect information about other users, or use forum content for commercial purposes.
- Post copyrighted material without permission or present another person's work as your own.
- Use X1P9 to cheat, obtain prohibited answer keys, or violate school rules.
Content or access may be restricted or removed when reasonably necessary to protect students, enforce these terms, or keep the service working.
5. Content students submit
You keep ownership of original questions, replies, and other material you submit. By posting, you give X1P9 permission to store, display, reproduce, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the service.
You promise that you have the right to submit your content and that it follows these terms. Forum posts may be visible to other signed-in students. Reported content may be reviewed and removed. Do not submit anything you need to remain confidential.
Homework proof photos
Homework photos attached in the planner are stored only in that browser on that device. They are not posted to the forum. Do not attach photos containing another person's face, school ID, address, grades, or other private information.
6. Educational accuracy and responsible use
X1P9 aims to provide clear and accurate explanations, but mistakes or outdated information may occur. Lessons and generated feedback are provided for general educational use, not as guaranteed answers. Students should check graded work, safety information, and important decisions with a teacher, parent, textbook, or trusted primary source.
You remain responsible for following your teacher's instructions, academic-integrity rules, and school policies.
7. Third-party services and links
X1P9 may use or link to services such as Google, Supabase, Google Calendar, Google Fonts, and the website host. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. X1P9 is not responsible for third-party websites, content, availability, or actions.
8. Availability and limits
X1P9 is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, no promise is made that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose. X1P9 is not responsible for lost browser data, missed assignments, grading decisions, or losses caused by relying solely on the site.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived, including applicable consumer or children's privacy rights.
9. Changes, ending access, and questions
These terms may be updated when the site or its legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version begins. Continued use after that date means the updated terms apply.
You may stop using X1P9 at any time. The site owner may suspend account-based features or remove content that violates these terms or creates a safety risk.
