1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the X1P9 website and its learning tools, Google sign-in, and student forum. X1P9 is an independent educational project for students in Grades 6–8. It is not a school, tutoring service, or official learning-management system.
Students can browse lessons and use most study tools without creating an account. Signing in is optional and is currently used for account-based features such as the student forum.
2. Information X1P9 handles

X1P9 does not intentionally collect payment information, precise location, phone numbers, or school records. Students should never put full names, school names, addresses, schedules, phone numbers, or other private details in a forum post.
3. How information is used
- Provide lessons, the homework planner, study streaks, and other requested features.
- Authenticate users and show whether a student is signed in.
- Publish questions and replies to other signed-in forum users without displaying the student's Google email address.
- Review reports, enforce community rules, troubleshoot problems, and protect the site.
- Improve the reliability and clarity of X1P9.
Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing X1P9 features. It is not used for targeted advertising, sold to data brokers, or used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.
5. Children's privacy
X1P9 is designed for middle-school learning, so some visitors may be under 13. The public learning pages do not require a student to provide personal information.
A child under 13 should not create an account, use Google sign-in, or submit information to the forum unless a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school has reviewed the service and provided any consent required by applicable law. X1P9 does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information improperly, they should ask the site owner—through the person or organization that supplied the X1P9 link—to remove it.
6. Security
X1P9 uses HTTPS and relies on Google and Supabase security controls for sign-in and hosted account data. Access tokens are stored in the student's browser so the site can recognize the signed-in session. No internet service can promise perfect security, so students should sign out on shared devices and should never post sensitive information.
Homework proof photos are resized and saved locally in that browser. X1P9 does not upload those photos to the forum or Supabase. Anyone who can use the same browser profile may still be able to view locally saved planner information.
7. Retention and deletion
- Device-only data remains until the user deletes tasks, clears the browser's site data, or the browser removes it.
- Sign-in sessions remain until sign-out, expiration, or browser-data removal.
- Forum and account records remain while needed to operate and protect the forum, unless deletion is requested or retention is legally required.
To remove device-only information, clear X1P9's site data in the browser. To request deletion of an account, forum post, reply, or report, contact the X1P9 owner through the same person, school, group, or sharing channel that provided the website link. Include enough information to identify the record, but do not send passwords or access tokens.
8. Your choices
- Use the lessons without signing in.
- Choose not to post in the forum.
- Sign out when finished, especially on a shared device.
- Delete local planner tasks or clear X1P9's browser data.
- Ask for correction or deletion of account-based information.
Blocking browser storage may prevent sign-in, saved progress, streaks, and homework-planner features from working correctly.
9. Changes and questions
This policy may be updated if X1P9 changes how it handles information. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
